As far as I know, Jack Mallers' Strike is related to Zap, and their lightning network nodes are named *.zaphq.io. However, I just saw that a node named "strike" is opening a channel to my node. This node is hosted at the same location as the zaphq.io nodes, already has lots of large channels, and is connected to several zaphq.io nodes (who hand-pick their channel peers, it seems).

Do you know more about this node? Is this some kind of "open" variant of the zaphq.io nodes?

PS: The transaction used to fund "my" new channel uses a single 10 BTC output, which I'd say is rather rare.

1 BTC channel incoming. The one opened before is doing great, can't wait to see what a larger channel can do :)

All I know is they just released some new features like lnauth

subscribed. I had this node on my next batch open list. Maybe I'll swap it for one of the zaphq.io nodes :)

This node scammed me in 30M triangle swap, single negative it has on lnplus is from me and well deserved. Looks like it's corporate, would be a shame if indeed affiliated with Strike
