Btw many universities have a professional book digitization service. At my university you can sponsor/godfathership the digitization of e.g. chronicles from the 1600s. You could do that with your old bible. Would be a bummer if this old thing degrades and gets lost to time
Thanks for the tip! I'm just not sure if it's worth it for my Bible since religious old books are quite common around here. I think it might be different if you have old factual or historical books. Unfortunately, I believe digitizing them costs more than the book's value. Mine is not as old as the 1600s...
