I think this is the last time I use NFL Sunday Ticket.
Last week the bills were playing KC which was carried nationally so that means it automatically doesn’t show up on NFL Sunday ticket.
So then I use the paramount + app and I was stuck watching the damn Jags vs. Browns game which was pretty much in hand but CBS forced me to watch it. So missed the first quarter thus Buffalo’s first touchdown which is was extremely annoying.
Now today the Bills are playing Dallas on Fox I assume it will be the national game thus not on Sunday ticket! So now I will have to hunt down the Fox app and see if I can stream it there.
If you team is good and you get a lot of prime time games NFL Sunday Ticket is a ripoff. I thought moving from Direct TV to YouTube would be better but it’s not. Why can’t YouTube be like hey you want to watch this game then it’s $9.99 with sub or $25.99 with out or make it related to the price a ticket to attend the live event! Either way a better has to exist for this.
I've heard people bring this up, but so far I've been able to watch everything through YouTube TV. Why aren't you able to watch the CBS local game through YouTube TV?
That said, I 100% agree with you about a la cart games. It's crazy that you can't buy individual games.
I also think there should be team subscriptions. I'd still pay half as much just to get all the Raiders games. I get that Raiders fans are nuts, but I'm sure they could charge like 20% of the Sunday Ticket price for individual franchise subscriptions and make way more per game.

Yes! This is why I was excited to see ticket leave direct tv. I only will pay to see the Bills but yet I don’t. Just feels like I’m getting ripped off when the game I want is on national tv but not on ticket.
I don’t have YouTube TV. I never watch cable television anymore. YouTube Tv is like $70 a month. Couldn’t justify paying that! I only have paramount+ because the Bills are an AFC/CBS team. But Fox got this game because of Dallas

Was it possible to get Sunday Ticket without YouTube TV? I thought we had to get both. Of course, the Raiders play so many prime time and local games, that I would do better with just the in-market games compared with out-of market.
reply
Yeah you can it’s a bit more expensive but that makes sense because I don’t pay for YouTube tv

Years ago in Canada you used to be able to buy all four sports packages in one through the cable provider. NFL Sunday Ticket, MLB extra innings, NBA League Pass and NHL centre ice. It was $40 a month back then for all four packages, which didn't seem bad, but I rarely ever used it. The odd time I would use it for a 49ers game if they weren't featured on one of the national networks and I used to like to watch the west coast baseball games on occasion because I rarely got to see those teams play.
I only kept it for about a year. They were raising the price and it wasn't worth the money for using it maybe 1 or 2 times a month.

Yeah MSG came out with a package that gives you the Knicks, Mets, Rangers, and Sabres but the pricing was terrible.
