The fees will come down when the hype for ordinals dies out. Maybe it takes another week. Maybe it takes a few more months/years.

But be prepared because the fees will go back up in the future, and they will be much higher than they are now.

Bitcoin (or Bitpower) is still nascent. There will be exponentially more demand for blockspace in the future as more use cases are built on top of Bitcoin. But don't worry, because the purchasing power of your bitcoin will be tremendous when this time comes.
