However, I would say I'm a 80/20 desktop/mobile kind of guy when it comes to podcasts. I already liked the Android version quite well so I am especially happy that I can now listen to podcasts while doing other stuff on my desktop. Need to checkout the desktop version more though. Is it new or quite old already?
Btw, I noticed that some podcasts can be claimed. Does this mean not every podcast is uploaded by the author? Or is it just about verification?
Podcasts are just like websites in that they are publicly accessible via the rss feed urls - so we have all the podcasts on Fountain other than exclusives like Joe Rogan. Claiming a podcast on Fountain allows the podcaster to start receiving sats from their audience!

I hate that so many “podcasts” like JRE are locked behind platforms like YouTube or Spotify. IMO if you can’t access them via rss with a podcast app they shouldn’t be allowed to call themselves podcasts.
Podcasts are freedom tech and being locked on a platform is antithetical to podcasting.
