Hi stackers, many of you know that I have a traditional business in which I accept bitcoin, sometimes people joke that they will pay with bitcoin, when they will actually pay using fiat junk, but for some reason they find it funny, in many cases because they think that a btc is not divisible, ideal time to talk to them about the spirit of satoshi, but..

The point is, today a guy, with several young customers, checking that I accept bitcoin has made the typical joke of "ok sir, I will pay with bitcoin", my terrible prejudices have intuited that he was not a bitcoiner, and yep, I was right.

Finally, the guy asked to leave a positive review on google, to which I agreed but once he was about to leave I said.. hey, you know how google is, if you want to give your uncensored opinion you can mention us in the app you prefer using Nostr... so both he and his friends turned to me asking if I could tell them what it was about.

After 10 minutes (I had to keep working) you can't go too deep, but enough to have a friendly chat and provoke a minimum interest for them to have the basic notions, bookmark some magic guides and even download a lightning wallet and a nostr browser, and yes, curiously they all downloaded the tools in the blink of an eye.

Conclusion I think young people are more interested in freedom of speech than in economics, maybe nostr can be a key piece for them to start to really understand what is behind bitcoin. Of the 6 people I talked to, two of them had already been banned from twitter at least once, so they have experienced censorship, regarding bitcoin, maybe they will start to consider it as a tool when they have to manage their economy, but until then nostr can be a bridge to get to know bitcoin, especially to a younger community.

After all... yep, maybe I'll get a negative review on nostr because they're evil trolls, or worse, disguised shitcoiners, but it was worth it 😂

By the way, now that I think about it, there is no review platform in nostr? We should create something like that!
