Guys, please welcome our latest release. Firefox enabled extensions' support, so we got Alby there. Now you can use Stacker.news, nostr clients, any bitcoin supporting web app - and it should work like your PC browser extensions!
Happy to hear your feedback
by using a mobile while you are on SN... you are revealing more than you think about you. No matter how many VPNs you are using, are worthless...

Iโ€™m working on an article about @Alby, with many feedbacks ๐Ÿ‘€

Game changer. Next up, more Nostr-native browsers ๐Ÿ’ช
reply
It went invite code only. We must wait a while to see the update.
reply
The extension is without invites!
reply
"Alby accounts are currently invite-only. However, you can always connect your own node to the extension."
reply
Yes, the Account (Alby running a node for you) is invite-only now for new users. The extension (which can control many various nodes) is totally free and without any limits :)

Managed to install it. Then, tried signing in to Primal, but seems like their Android version does not support login using Alby. I'll wait until they do...
reply
My bad. Misread your message. Managed to log in using primal within Firefox browser. Is it normal though it does not use the same keys as in my browser laptop? Basically creating a new nostr id...
reply
Keys are stored locally. You need to import them on every device.

I tried to install the Alby extension many times but failed. I switched to using mash's Lightning wallet (app. mash. com ) and I have solved the problem of not matching the user's browser.
reply
Thanks @hisatoshi for giving the mash wallet a go and sharing. Any and all feedback, keen to hear it. We have lots of improvements coming, but want to always learn more from the community.
reply
Hey, where did you fail with it? Happy to assist!
reply
Do you mean , firefox on mobile natively support it.
reply
It works like a charm... reason to switch to firefox as my default browser. Thanks Alby, we talk this on a support mail two weeks before.
reply
@spot indeed! We were waiting for December 14 - that's when Firefox opened their mobile extensions support
reply
Yo it supports, confirmed....

It took too long! Do you have any information on when this will be possible in Chrome?
reply
Chrome don't allow extensions on mobile, you have to use forks like Kiwi Browser to be able to install it.
reply
Did you get Kiwi to work with our extension? Since some time they don't support it...
reply
I just tried and the wallet works pretty well.
LN-Auth shows the "Authorize" screen for a single frame then goes blank.
Here's the error I get in Kiwi dev tools:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'name') popup.bundle.js?f90cc21โ€ฆ:2
