They printed the code of RSA, one if not the first public key algorithm, on a t-shirt.
Under the applicable laws at the time, this t-shirt was now considered to be "military technology whose export was strictly regulated in order to preserve a competitive security advantage for the U.S."

Fun fact, the t-shirt was made by Adam Back :)
