Feedback I posted on Nostr:
I've given the Fountain podcast app a try a few times (including the 1.0 new release) and there are still a few things that hold me back from switching over. My current podcast app of choice is AntennaPod and I run GrapheneOS for what it's worth.
  1. No ability to scrub forward or backwards from lockscreen.
  2. "Skip silence" mode seems to be enabled by default regardless of playback speed. There is no option to turn this on or off (this is probably a bug).
  3. Can't set the default page on open. Would be great to set it to library, or even go straight to latest episodes, as an example.
  4. Would be great to have the option to show podcast thumbnails, rather than specific episode thumbnails when viewing the library. Makes it easier to tell what's what at a glance.
  5. It's not open source - I know this isn't a real complaint and the Fountain team know how to run their business. This is personal preference especially given it's build around Bitcoin/LN.
It's a great player otherwise. Maybe someone will find the feedback helpful.
thanks so much for the detailed feedback!

this should now be fixed in version 1.0.2 - can you let me know if not?

we plan to add this very soon - will follow up when done

interesting yes I can see why this would be more useful in the library view - let me have a bit more of a think but will probably change this

my hope is that we will open source the client app at some point in the future

please let me know if you have any additional feedback!
