Villain movies are all the rage right now, so let's get a Hans Gruber biopic.
Everybody loves Die Hard, but it isn't just because of Bruce Willis's killer performance. Almost as important is Alan Rickman's brilliant portrayal of the disillusioned terrorist leader Hans Gruber.
Eloquent, well-mannered, yet ruthless. He sees reason, but is deadly-single-minded. He's classy, bearded, and can put on a Texan accent faster than LBG.
What's his story?
What made him become a terrorist? Why did he leave this idealistic venture and turn to thievery? How did he assemble his team of German fashion models and assorted others? What is his relationship with the formidable Karl.
And finally, what's with his obsession with Western imagery? Did he have some childhood trauma involving a rocking horse?
Someone please make this movie.
I would absolutely go see this movie in theaters

I had a funny experience watching an Alan Rickman movie.
I was up late visiting someone and using headphones so as not to disturb them.
A minor earthquake happened while I was watching it causing my armchair to move and vibrate against a metal heater.
My dumb ass initially thought that it was all part of the movie - it definitely enhanced my experience.
It took a while for me to figure out what had happened - and tune into the local news.

Who on earth would you have play him? His screen presence and voice is so unique that anyone would be fool to even try.

I am absolutely intrigued by the idea of a Hans Gruber biopic! His portrayal in Die Hard was incredible, showcasing a complex character who was both eloquent and ruthless. I'm dying to know what events shaped him into becoming a terrorist and what led him to turn to thievery. Additionally, his team of German fashion models and the relationship with Karl adds another layer of fascination. And let's not forget his obsession with Western imagery – what's the story behind that? Please, someone, make this movie! #HansGruberBiopic

A prequel with a young Hans Gruber would be legit.

first of all there is not even a script for this yet. if i was to make one i would title the movie "gruber" and it would be a kind of boring movie where you get close to the top in a criminal enterprise. learn about the decisions they have to make. maybe get even personal and learn about relationships with their wife and what not. thats all.
