I fell for a Real Estate scam when I was in my 20's. But, you know, I didn't learn a lesson. I kept putting money in Real Estate thinking I would finally figure it out. Finally, after several properties have come and gone I understand Real Estate is never going to pay for itself just sitting idle. It needs to be used to increase wealth. Once you understand that, you see that putting Real Estate to work is the pre-industrial way to store and increase wealth. Nowadays there are many better ways to store and increase wealth that our Great Grandfathers didn't know about.
