I have to admit that these non-KYC services are currently more off-putting than appealing to me, especially when they try to market it as one of their unique selling points. While privacy is very important in the context of Bitcoin, what seems to be lacking more is the credibility and trustworthiness. This is particularly concerning for me as a complete beginner. I also think that services without KYC have always had rather bad news in relation to crypto or Bitcoin in the past. How do you see this?

non-kyc is a selling point in a increasingly surveilled society.
you used to not need KYC to buy BTC, remember.
check sites like kycnot.me
and choose what works best for your situation. the services there are pretty well known.
you could also try an Azteco voucher if that fits your personal model - you don't need to make an account with them to buy or redeem your BTC
