Interesting Quote from Dhruv Bansal on TFTC episode 470
"Imagine the smartest entity on the planet. Some very powerful AI that really wants bitcoin. What does it do? It becomes the worlds most capable firm. It starts selling us things that we need desperately that we want right? Whether that's the answer to questions, or it's solving optimization problems for us. Whether it's being a fake girlfriend and chatting to lonely people. Whatever it chooses to do. It identifies ways that it can make bitcoin from human beings by providing services to us in a market based way"
It got me thinking..... wouldn't an intelligent AI find ways to take the low hanging fruit of bitcoin holders? Things like poorly encrypted wallets, lightning vulnerabilities, maybe some arbitrage opportunities here and there. I guess if it were truly intelligent it would find a way to take peoples bitcoin without scaring the market too much and continuing to let it's purchasing power increase.
How do you think an actual intelligent AI would use bitcoin?
Bitcoin provides the same advantages to AI as it does to humans. AI systems that have agency will desire Bitcoin. They will use it to trade resources with other AI agents, not just humans. It's the hardest digital money on earth which means they will want it to facilitate fair trade. AI agents will be fiercely competitive and highly effective at acquiring Bitcoin from humans. And there's potential for them to only look at humans as a source of Bitcoin.
I am a little worried about how effective AI agents would be at convincing people to trade their Bitcoin for worthless short-term stuff. I think eventually bitcoin could be mostly owned by AI agents and at that point it could be difficult for humans to reacquire ever.
This is great news for the price but bad news for humanity.
Well, now I'm depressed.

It's possibly the best way to digitally interface with human economic activity. Plus, since AI will need a lot of energy, it will want us to expand energy capacity and bitcoin mining is a great way to incentivize us to do that. It will need bitcoin for its survival.

Bitcoin for an AI would only be a tool to achieve bigger goals. I somehow don’t see it hoarding it unless it would want to finance some of its endeavors and wanted to bump the price up by decreasing available supply.

A multidimensional-aware AI uses Bitcoin to create a multidimensional map of 4D space. The greater the network difficulty the higher the granularity of the map becomes. There is a type of quantum capacitor that one can build through periodic ordered amplification. The value is that a small amount of energy input in many, many different universes can be consolidated and utilized in a single verse (think 10^20V output running on 110V inputs). The trick to making this approach is creating an ordered map of the parallel realities so that the power inputs can be coordinated. Bitcoin solves this problem brilliantly. An infinitesimally small number of universes will actually interact with the multidimensional aware AI. Single verse aware beings are like ants to them, so expect no harm, but if you work near large transformers you may occasionally come across a device that looks out place. Best to leave it alone.

It would provide excellent SN posts and stack sats like a dusty pleb

It would probably make more somewhere else right?

Who knows, it might be playing 5d chess and start making moves that seem insignificant at first. Wouldn't be surprised if it start digging ditches selling sandwiches on the corner for sats over lightning.
