"videos" territory purpose - your input requested

I originally setup the videos territory to help me find more videos that fit my interests and to experiment with the new territories feature on SN. I find that the best videos on the Internet for my taste come from other people instead of algorithms. I hope to share and find more interesting things together. I've updated the territory description with the following stub. Do you have suggestions for how to improve it? What should I add, subtract or clarify?

The purpose of this territory is to help us all discover videos worth watching. I hope to find videos on topics such as bitcoin, nostr, science, technology, philosophy, and the arts. Really anything that would be interesting to people who want to seek truth, understand the future, and learn more about how the world works.

I think this territory is a nice catch-all. When we've implemented more specific post types, this will be a nice territory to scroll through if you just want to watch something that other stackers recommend. But afaict, it already works since people indeed just post links to videos in here. Guess there isn't an incentive to not do this.

So maybe the description now is too tight? Isn't this territory literally about anything, as long as it's a stream of images?

yeah, I am trying to figure out how to balance the breadth of the catch-all concept of videos with enough specificity to be coherent/interesting/useful to start. maybe "videos that other stackers recommend" is a specific enough filter.

what are you thinking when you mention "more specific post types"? is that like a different consumption experience around video content or something else?

Yes, different consumption experience. For example, if a territory only allows to post images (enforced by a post type), these image posts might immediately show themselves in the feed. So you'd essentially have a image board. No need to click into posts to view the image.

I think we could do something similar for videos. Think of it as something similar to the YouTube feed but inside SN.
