I just want Brave but with BTC on Lightning Network, is that too much to ask? #26100
Brave for Bitcoiners #13555

Impervious AI browser seems to be the closest thing to a Bitcoin centring browser it should be available soon

That's the million sats question now: when release?

I use brave minus their token shit. There is a clear need for Web 5 (DIDs+ wallet) integrated browser. I am sure a faction within brave will fork it to make it happen...!
reply
I think at one point there was a Bitcoin focused fork of Brave. It had a badger as its mascot instead of a lion. Not sure what happened to it.
reply
Absolutely yes. They should just give up on their shitcoin and adopt BTC over LN. Brave is a cool concept that’s held back by their shitcoin.
reply
@alby should build a browser
reply
It originally was supposed to be built to use bitcoin.

Yes, i stopped watching their ads, as brave is down shitton and they have 2 wallets/exchanges - gemini and uphold, both of whom have put indian users' verification on hold along with other countries. Plus gemini increased the withdrawal limit to 10x suddenly. Seems very slimy with all this Luna crap. i've been telling each and every customer care in feedback for years "use sats" to Amazon, Google. YouTube, Brave, Odysee, but they have chosen their own stupidcoins.
reply
They should if they want to be around for a while longer, who is going to bother with its monetiation token, it just ads complexity, why would I want to advertise to people and have to jump through hoops buying a shitcoin.
they should switch to lightning it would streamline their entire process and provide way more liquidity
If am keen to see how impervious works once we can all get our hands on it

I have no interest in anything chromium whatsoever.
If I should have someone should convince me of what's better than pointing smartphone at Tor browser window qr codes.
reply
Same. I would rather support Firefox even though they recently came out against PoW. Despite their opinion, I believe browser engine diversity is important and I don't want to see chromium/google have more control over the market than they already do. That is too strong of a centralizing force.
Tragic Mozilla's going to kill their browser because of stupid management decisions.

Stacker browser? ;)

Someone interested in doing that could always just fork the project ;)

Might build a WebKit-powered browser at Valera like this
