Does anyone have information or resources about what threats are posed to a user if their node is compromised? What is the attack surface and what attacks are possible? I am interested in understanding the scope of threat / impact that an exploit in node software would represent.
- Griefing / dropping transactions?
- Sybil attack by connecting to other compromised nodes / showing a false or incorrect state of the Bitcoin network? (Is this possible?)
