Who've had a wonderful 2023?! No? Awesome! Me neither.
Besides reaching my stacking-goals through literally going all-in with every paycheck I've received (setting aside only the bare minimum fiat for necessary expenses and groceries), my 2023 sucked, and I don't even fully know why, although I'm suspecting that its my laziness which started to go full-throttle this year... I've really become a lazy, lethargic individual.
Anyways, who've managed to hit their stacking-goals, too?! And what are your goals for 2024?

I used to post weekly updates on my stacking goal of 0.5BTC this year but upon the advice of a few respected stackers I stopped doing it. I came close but I did not actually end up reaching my goal this year. Unfortunately, the dramatic price rise from 16k to over 40k really slowed down my sat acquisition pace in the latter part of the year.
Although I did not reach the goal I did stack much more than I would have had the goal not been in place, so it was definitely a positive forcing function.
My goal for 2024 will be 0.25BTC and again even if I don't get there because price goes up too much, I know I will be farther ahead than if I had no goal at all.

Yeah man, after we breached 28k, there was no turning back! I Definitely didn't see that coming, and it hurt my goals badly, too.
I normally would wish you luck, but I'm practically sure you'll rip through your target... So there's that! 😉

We will see. I started off hot last year and had built up a pretty good cushion to stay ahead of my pace even if price moved up. I was good until about 30k and then started to fall behind. I am semi retired and did not work much this past year so that didn't help. I want to get more income on my books this year so I can shop for a better rate at mortgage renewal time. If I am working more this year, I can probably reach my stacking goal for the year unless price goes absolutely wild.
