generally or in the midst of news updates? generally, yes. Ever since I was a baby, I couldn't fall asleep n less than 2 hours, laying awake watching the ceiling (or having adventure fantasies in my head, later on.) Sometimes this would extend to 4, 5, 6 hours. While this has gotten better in recent years and falling asleep isn't that much of a problem anymore (that is, it's now more like 40-60 minutes), I now wake up long before I have to and can't go back to sleep. Half the time podcasts help me sleep again, but the other half, I now lay in bed 2, 3 hours in the morning until I have to get up.
