Another round, another split for the Heat this weekend.

The Heat split their 4 games series with the Melbourne Aces 2-2. They remain in 3rd place in the ABL but have fallen to 4.5 games behind the league leading Adelaide Giants. With only one round left in the ABL season the best they can hope for is a second place finish but regardless they will be in the playoffs.

The series started off very well with the Heat winning the first two games 6-1 and 9-2. However, Melbourne took the last two games of the series 10-7 and 9-8.
