At least, that's what I'll refer this to.
In a Nutshell; @k00b asked me why I prefer to post the link to a PDF instead of posting the document's contents in multiple parts onto SN, I answered that it's simply a hassle to copy-paste the text into 10 posts, correctly space them again and have the links of subsequent parts added to the parts before them.
A link to the document is the easiest and cleanest method for both the OP and the reader.
Have a look at the ongoing back-and-forth (which I'm enjoying) here; #390612
Okay, what I thought would be a step in the right direction, or at least an idea, would be to 1. Import the Doc 1:1, 2. Being able to cut the Doc's contents into parts, 3. "Labeling" said parts through applying a dedicated title to each part and 4. Implementing a new kind of post, namely one with labels.
On the "labelling" of posts;
The post "starts" like any other post; the first title + content (as you'll see in the following pic) will essentially be displayed like any normal post;
However under the text of said post will be a number of tabs, each displaying the other part's title's, which one can click on, subsequently opening up the second part of the post, third title -> third part et cetera.
This could look like this;
Going after the example above, this hypothetical post would consist of eight individual posts (see amount of titles), combined to one "Super-Post" from which one could click back-and-forth through use of the "table".
I know it's explained a bit fuzzy, but I really think that this could be something, come on, give it a swing.
