I occasionally see comments or posts with Twitter screennames (usernames) that SN treats as an SN @nym
Would it be useful if SN were to have special handling if the comment or post had @screenname@Twitter.com, and then treated it as if it was @screenname?
i.e., To let me add the suffix @Twitter.com and SN detects it and does the markdown suitable for Twitter.
This approach would work for Instagram and others too I suppose, though I don't see much of other social media usernames here on SN.

Here's a tool that might be useful to some.
Lets you copy text from a web page or even a Tweet and then create the markdown for that so you can easily paste that into a post or comment reply here on SN.
