As many of you know eventually sooner rather than later, Nostr will be used on many different ways with B2B and b2C merchants. Specifically Point of sale systems that scan at registers, tablets, phones etc will need at least part of these "linked" referenced to from search methods that Nostr will obviously take the lead on. All you need to read is https://gs1.org/ about the color code tables already being requested from re-sellers, Amazon sellers, FBA, distributors, retailers all part of the need for Nostr builders to consider.

My point is to consider baby steps and at the very least include the "Uncompared Color Code" as a start.......

These will put your products ahead of most other "old fashioned" cataloging methods.

Beige=250
Black=000
Blue=400
Brown=200
Green=300
Grey=020
Orange=800
Pink=650
Purple=500
Red=600
White=100

These are not my numbers, they are from GS1.

In the meantime I strongly suggest to check your existing barcodes that many of as some newer resellers over the last few years have taken short cuts and bought recycled barcode numbers.

You can use this to help verify https://www.gs1.org/services/check-digit-calculator

More on this I should probably do a video on.
