5 qualities of good money:
- scarcity (also implies cannot counterfeit)
- durable (can be stored)
- divisible
- fungible
- transportable
Time is certainly scarce and divisible (I think, but I'm not a quantum physicist). But it seems to fail most of the other test. Most serious failure as I can see is time is not "fungible".
