Somehow I managed to not hear about it until a random interview I watched a couple years ago on Youtube where Breedlove was talking about "What is money?" I'm just curious as to whether someone told you about it or if you discovered it yourself randomly.

back in 2009 my cto mentioned someone made a crypto currency. I saw it can be used on silk road to buy drugs, and didn't bother investigating further for another 2 years.

I must've heard about Bitcoin from somewhere because I was thinking what is mining? Think that was around 2019
The only word association I had in my head was coal miners, so I decided to Google what Bitcoin mining was and fell into the mine head first!
