Collapsing threads is a nice way to ignore comment threads you're no longer interested in following.

When a thread gets busy and active, it's nice to be able to refresh and quickly zero in on new threads or those you're still interested in following. But currently, stacker.news doesn't persist your collapsed threads between refreshes.
