It is a phenomenon that we have been observing for some years now: birth rates are falling worldwide, in some cases dramatically. This will have economic consequences, as all economic systems, social systems, etc. are geared towards a stable population or moderate growth. This will result in major deflationary trends that cannot be reflected in our fiat money system, which is existentially dependent on inflation and the expansion of the money supply.
Men and Woman are losing their traditional roles. Women are increasingly focused on pursuing careers and achieving independence rather than prioritizing having children. The rise of gay/trans/woke culture (propaganda) is exacerbating these dynamics.

I'm definitely in the camp that's glad people have a wider range of opportunities.
However, I also think young people are getting very poor guidance about what kind of life is most likely to lead to happiness.
Pretty much all of the mainstream messaging deprioritizes starting a family.

Of course because FIAT system is losing its value. Therefore, you do not want to bring human being to this world if you aren't sure that you can take care of them. Why would you give birth to someone if you do not even know that you can feed yourself not even another human?!

The root was the destruction of the pillars of civilization by cultural marxism:
Private Property/ Free Markets Religion Family (as immune system against the state) Independent Culture Free Education

Probably more important to look at longer term demographic trends than a 1y change.
Fertility rates have halved in the last 60 years, and as a consequence, the developed world has a contracting population, as the fertility rates are now all below 2.
The only thing that accounts for population increases in those places (AU, EU, US etc) is immigration from other geographies.
The following table shows the change in fertility rates since 1960, and breaks that down across the major geographic regions of the world.
Note all of the 2021 rates that are below 2 - they are populations that will contract without immigration. The inescapable observation is the reduction in birthrates globally though - in part because of the improved medical care that has seen reduced infant mortality

Check out the podcast Based Camp, by Simone and Malcolm Collins. It's about this very topic, they run a pronatalist group (https://pronatalist.org/).
Malcolm was interviewed on Stephan Livera's podcast, it's a very interesting intro to their ideas: https://stephanlivera.com/episode/524/.

if the deflationary trends cannot happen, what will happen instead?

do you think inflation will be the result?
or is there a path forward where governments print just enough money to counteract the deflationary trends without causing serious inflation?
reply
They can't control it. A la long I count with higher inflation rates and a growing number of fiats collapsing

The fiat standard describes a lot about fiat money, fiat food, fiat buildings, etc. Fiat love is also a thing. So, we need more people, especially woman, in bitcoin! There are a lot of male techies already in bitcoin, as this is still too new for the average. Change is coming.
And of course there is more to it. Costs for a baby, etc...

Yes, indeed. Women are missing here

They just use this as justification for mass migration of people, forget that the young people in the supposedly middle class developed economies are already struggling to start families or afford life
