This sounds great so far, but, MPC has a downside too. For ECDSA (pre Taproot and Schnorr), MPC is extremely complicated. Script multisig and SSS are much simpler.
There's no standardized, battle-tested MPC implementation. Instead there are a lot of different protocols
For this reason, I don't believe they are doing this.
