On one hand 50ct per install over 1 million in the EU is pretty steep...
On the other hand I like the idea of putting the cost of EU regulation back onto EU citizens.
As a European I'm harmed by this but at least people get the consequences of their own actions. The national governments killed all new-economy businesses when the internet was new with regulation but people don't get it's a consequence of our own actions. The EU is currently killing any economic activity in AI with regulation but people won't get that it's a consequence of our own actions. At least with this thing every European will be reminded of our overregulation everytime they pay the 50ct for every app.

I wonder how this will play out for developers in the EU, where Apple has to allow to install apps other than their App store.
