Enjoyed the sobering take on kidnapping and that "Bitcoin fixes kidnapping" enabling more anonymous and easier payment of large sums. As the economy works through inflation, security has been on my mind a lot more lately. With Austin breaking up camps of unhoused people, I've had a significant uptick in unpleasant encounters with unhoused people on my walks.
