Hello Stackers!

It's the 83rd of January and we're still throwing down the Js. (Man January is such a long month).

What artists or tracks begining with J can you give me today?

I got Jorn - Fire to the sun. Dudes got some wicked rock vocals.

Tesseract - Juno

Tesseract! Damn Bellzer you're really swinging out the food ones. I was fortunate enough to see tesseract live. They were brilliant.

I saw them once but don't remember with who and didn't know who they were prior to the show...they put out some great stuff

reply

There's a lot going on there. Those staccato notes with some delay on them really caught my attention. It sounded like someone playing the wrong keys at the wrong time. Which is obviously deliberate, which is what makes it interesting, why would you want to do something deliberately that sounds like someone doing something wrong? Aside from the underlying beat, everything sounds so random. It takes serious work to make something sound random without sounding terrible. Jarres done a great job at incorporating lots of different things to create randomness but stay within the lines of composed. It was a cool listen. Great submission.

Yeah, but I mean it sounds off somehow, like it's mistimed or something. But it's clearly a feature and not a bug which is really cool, because it really draws you in.
