I think you're talking about the `text` field on a poll which is basically the discussion part. It's right under the `title` field.

I think there might be some confusion around how it works.

You're not wrong there. I was able to create one in September - so I know I've actually created one - but boy, I've no idea now! Come to think about it, I remember when I did create the poll, I found how to do it by accident...

Incidentally, this recent foray into trying to click 'options' 

Instead I wanted to check whether SN's poll tailoring abilities had changed since I used it.

I'm always drafting posts ideas, I've a few dozen on the go rn.

One draft idea that's high on the list is exploring SN poll limitations and to get a discussion going as to how it might improve.

(Ironically, I never thought about improving how to start a poll.)
