This is a problematic bifurcation: while large, listed companies have no problem raising new capital on the stock market or even on the bond market (record placement of new bonds), SMEs are faced with an extremely restrictive credit market. Nevertheless, it looks as if credit conditions will improve in the short term, even for small and medium-sized enterprises, as interest rates fall dramatically and rapidly.
