But this is free market. So far stablecoins are the closest form to privately issued monies we could observe for more than 100 years of central banks domination.

Sure, but USDT is basically an IOU for the USD issued by a shady company... so even worse than the dollar itself. There's an interesting video from Coffeezilla talking about Tether.

I started to think that they just getting rid of most risky assets while arbitraging USDT dump on markets as a result of LUNA-3AC story.
