Doesn't work for me at all.
If I close one, then open another page, it still opens them up.
I think it opens when there's not many comments, independently if I have closed it before or not.

Yeah, I think that's how it's working now.
Would it be possible to have a boolean in settings that simply activates or deactivates that behavior?
