J.P. Richardson Jr., professionally known as The Big Bopper, was a U.S. disc jockey and musician. He has the sad distinction of being killed in the same plane crash as Buddy Holly and Ritchie Valens. He is probably best known for this song, which was released in 1958, a year before his death. Here's Chantilly Lace:

Thanks for sharing Holly, Valens and the Big Bopper the past 3 days, realised the significance today (doh!) and learnt a bit about rock n roll history along the way.
