Had some downtime yesterday so I dove into a hockey podcast. I must say it was very entertaining hearing former Sabres players talking about the team with no filter and just hockey in general.

Thomas Vanek was on this call and he talked about how he didn’t want to go to the all star game because he wanted to rest. How 80+% or the players would vote not to go. Also talked about how GMs favor a big signing as their pick to go to the all star game over a player who earned it.

The most shocking thing tho was listening to how much the players drink. Vanek talked about how the drinking would start in the back of the bus right after the game.

They also talked about Ovie’s goal production fall off this year.
