One of my biggest peace of mind hacks is to let people be wrong. It's a lot like "let sleeping dogs lie." Only the dog isn't sleeping it's just so wrong it's irrelevant and might as well be unconscious.

Not only peace of mind, but a whole host of things cascade out from that one practice. You find that you're actually able to listen, for one. And paradoxically find that people start giving a shit about your opinion way more than when you really wanted to convince them of it.

Very true. I also remind myself that people might come around eventually. You don't need to convince them of anything right now.
While it's great to be able to learn through words and example, each of us has been ignorant and forced to learn through cold, hard experience.
