The Heat have been defeated by the mighty Adelaide Giants in the finals of the ABL. Falling 2 games to 1 to the same team that defeated them last year.

Overall, considering the slow start, it was a very good season for the Heat. Even though they were underdogs in this series, they did manage to win the first game 4-3 in a 13 inning thriller. With only one win away from hoisting the Claxton Shield, the defending champs proved to be too much for Heat taking game two 6-3 and securing the title with a 3-1 victory in game 3.

So, this concludes another season for the Bitcoin baseball team and this series of weekly posts. I am hoping to transition this Sunday segment to focus on other Bitcoin/Sports initiatives around the world so if you know of any please let me know. I only know of a few others but maybe I can also focus on some pro bitcoin athletes in these Sunday posts.
