I think a lot of these guys are taking after Trump. They saw how successful you can be by just saying crazy things. It's the "no such thing as bad publicity" effect.
Anyway, I feel sorry for the people of Argentina. I learned about the black market for dollars, which is fascinating but sad. Hopefully Bitcoin (or even stablecoins ) can provide some relief. I can't imagine living with 100 percent inflation.

But at least Trump said the truth about taxes in Hillary's face. Milei didn't and that means he is another politician. 210%+ official inflation last year, meaning the reality is double. For this year it's the same. Black market dollar is like stable coins in p2p
