PRAYER OF THE DAY - Matthew 6:6

Oh God, who knows the deepest secrets of our hearts, we come to You on this new day with gratitude and reverence. Just as You taught us in Matthew 6:6, we look for a secret place to meet You in prayer.

May we find refuge in You, away from the distractions of this world, to connect with You in intimacy and sincerity. Grant us the humility to recognize our need for You in every moment and the wisdom to seek Your presence in every aspect of our lives.

May our words and our thoughts be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord. Help us to open our hearts before You, sharing our joys, worries and dreams, knowing that You hear us in secret and answer us in powerful ways.

May our communion with you in this place of prayer strengthen us to face the challenges of this day. Enable us to live in constant communion with You, seeking first Your Kingdom and Your justice in all areas of our lives.

Lord, may this moment of intimacy with You inspire us to live a life of love, compassion and service to others, reflecting Your love to the world around us.

In the name of Jesus, who taught us to pray in secret, we pray.
