American woman was a huge hit! 

But this track is also really great.  It's got a sound that I can't really place (other than the guess who) there are times when I think he sounds a little like Robert Plant at times. 

Really easy listening sound.

It is rare for a Canadian artist to breakthrough and achieve global success. It seems especially rare for Canadian rock bands. 

The Guess Who were one of those rare bands. 

Best known for their smash hit American Woman, but the Guess Who were more than one hit wonders, they were staples on rock radio all over the world in the late 60s and early 70s.
