I was there in November for a week and traveled around different parts of the country. I'd say El Zonte (Bitcoin beach) is the only place you can use LN for whole day activities e.g. food, transportation, recreation. Some places in San Salvador use LN but not all. Other parts of the country accept it only sporadically. I'd plan on having cash and card to use.
