Yeah, those are so archaic and dead technologies which weren't working well even when they were introduced back then

Flash worked reasonably well. It just wasn't secure. For a long time, nobody really knew that, then it seemed to explode.

Lol, security was only one side of the coin - it was so hard and hostile to use lacking both good documentation and standardization compared to its main competitors like MS Silver light for example.

Silver light was on down the road a bit in 05.
