Its not an email,
Its a lightning address.. You can send sats using this address.
Just go to Wallet, select withdraw, select ln address,
Type the desired address and send the sats..
Apps like ZDB also let you send to ln addresses.
Thanks, yeah that's what I thought @teodor was going to do. Tap on the yellow button on someone's profile and a QR code will come up. You can either click to open your lightning wallet or scan it. I;ve never done it but I will send you @teodor some and try it now, then you can have a go and send them back to me.

I sent it from my Wallet of Satoshi by scanning the Qr code on your profile (not from my stacker news wallet). I went to your profile, clicked on the yellow button, which opened up a QR code. I scanned that with my WoS, inputted an amount and hit send.

Most lightning wallets already support this function and anyone can send you a payment directly to your address at any time, which has the format user_name@bitcoli.com , e.g. donate@bitcoli.com
