And more and more oil is being poured on the fire: German Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) has urged a significant increase in arms production in Europe. Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony for a new ammunition factory by Rheinmetall, Scholz emphasized the need for European partners to consolidate their orders and provide long-term procurement assurance to the defense industry. "We must move away from artisanal manufacturing towards mass production of arms," he stressed.
Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron reiterated his call for the expansion of the European defense industry. "Everything the EU does to supply arms and ammunition to Ukraine must also serve the development of the European defense industry," Macron stated during a meeting with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Paris. "This helps us enhance our production capacities and build Europe into a defense force complementing NATO," he added.
It should be very easy for these commies to convert their economy and thus parts of society in the media sector of the cultural industry into a war economy. But I'm curious to see to what extent these countries, which have been in recession for some time, will be able to manage this transformation.
