https://archive.is/sBPL6 - don't make people give these clowns money.
"From 2003 to 2022, American men reduced their average hours of face-to-face socializing by about 30 percent. ... For teenagers, it was more than 45 percent."
TO 2022. And not a single mention of the lockdowns.
And then this old tired trope again: "Americans have been so depressed about the state of the nation for so many consecutive years ... "every social crisis in the U.S. could be helped somewhat if people spent a little more time with other people and a little less time gazing into digital content" . It's the phones! Not the state of the world. Not the objectively true loss of prosperity and bleak prospects. Not the wars and genocides now broadcast 24/7. No, it's not that, it's that ( (a) we can now see those much better, thanks to those phones) people aren't socializing.
Which is to say: that people aren't diverting themselves from the misery by going bowling, but instead are diverting themselves with things that actually makes them learn about the miseries of the world. Stop doing that, you fools! Stop looking at the misery! Go bowling!
Very nice!
