Oh God, who knocks on the door of our hearts with love and grace, on this new day we surrender ourselves to You in humility and adoration. Just as You promised in Revelation 3:20, we are here ready to open the door of our hearts and receive Your presence.

Lord, come into our lives this day. May Your presence fill our hearts with peace, joy and hope. Enable us to follow Your paths and do Your will in all areas of our lives. Help us to hear Your voice and respond to Your call with faith and obedience.

May we commune with You in every moment of this day, seeking Your guidance in every decision we make. May our words and actions reflect Your love and Your truth to those around us.

Lord, may you always be present in our lives, guiding us, strengthening us and leading us to Your purpose for us. In the name of Jesus,

In this passage, Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with me." These words are an invitation from Jesus for us to allow his presence in our lives. He desires fellowship with us and offers us the opportunity for an intimate, personal relationship with Him.
