I've been playing around with the clipping tool on Fountain for a couple of weeks now and I've shared a few of them on SN. One of the problems is that, as far as I can tell, they can only be shared as links and people generally don't like to follow links.

I think Fountain's idea for building social media around podcast clips is promising, but there just aren't that many people discussing episodes/clips on Fountain. Stacker News has far more discussion, and is just a better platform to have them, than Fountain.

It seems like there's a nice opportunity to reinforce what Fountain is trying to do, while also adding a nifty feature to Stacker News, if we could embed clips and episodes in our posts here.
