Nothing much to recap for today. It's the beginning of the all star weekend, with the celebrity game, which I had no interest in, and the rising stars games, which I missed because I went out for dinner with my family.
I went over a few of the highlights for the rising stars games, and didn't find it very interesting. Apparently, Bennedict Mathurin won the rising stars MVP; I guess he really wants it in front of his home crowd. Here are some of the highlights from Mathurin.
No subjective play of the day from me today, as I didn't find anything I felt worth sharing. Looking forward to tomorrow's 3 point contest and slam dunk contest. Hopefully I'll be able to resume subjective play of the day tomorrow, ideally use some footage from the slam dunk contest.
Cheers and goodnight everyone!
Rising stars games were fun. I didn't pay much attention to the celebrity game but we need to discuss the LED court. From what I did watch it looked like I was watching a far too real video game. I thought the ability to change the graphics and colours for the intros was pretty cool but I did not like the game play on the LED court.

I think the LED court adds another level of possibility for special games or special occasions. And maybe like you said, some extra added graphics for intros and/or celebrations. But I find it not very useful for regular games.

The NBA channel took down the original video of Mathurin highlights. Here it is again.

Olympic gold coming Canada's way. I can feel it.

We definitely have some really good young blood coming out of Canada. I'm not sure about Paris 2024 though. Would be fun if we can beat team USA on their home soil in LA 2028!
