Canned Heat was a blues and rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1965. These guys were real students of the blues, and named the band from an old blues song.

Definitely getting that "Woodstock vibe" as you put it. Follows that classic blues sound, but also fuses the newer (newer than blues) rock elements that were being experimented with in the 50s and 60s.
I like the wind sound, is it a flute of some description? Or more like a recorder? Reminds me of led Zeppelin as they used it in a couple of things.
